TAKE A SURVEY TO HELP THE PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Have opinions about the quality of life in Caledonia? About cell phone coverage, high speed internet, the availability of affordable housing, and how growth should happen? Take a survey!

The Planning Commission (PC) has put together a short survey to aid them in updating the Town of Caledonia Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan sets forth the community's plan for future growth and specifics on how our community will grow and develop. Your PC is very diligent in this task and committed to making the update consistent with what you, the residents living here, envision for the community. Once approved, the town's comprehensive plan becomes the basis for the PC in making decisions that come before them relative to land divisions, conditional use permits, variances, and other development projects proposed for our community.

In order to base the update on your wishes and directives, the PC has been working conscientiously with the Waupaca County UW Extension to prepare a comprehensive survey to generate your views and thoughts on the future growth and development of the Town of Caledonia.

Take the survey here!

The survey will be mailed to every address, is available on the town website, and extra copies are available by emailing or calling the town clerk at caledoniaclerk@gmx.com or (920) 667-4773. The survey is anonymous and should not take long to complete. The success of the plan is dependent on the success of getting your feedback with this survey. Please take the time to complete it and add any comments you would like considered in the PC's work in updating the plan for your community. If you need any help to complete the survey or need extra copies to accommodate additional members in your household, call any PC or board member.

DEER CARCASSES ALONG THE ROADWAY

When there is a deer carcass on the side of the road, the best way to handle it is to pull the deer further off the road and let it decompose naturally. There is no resource available to the town to have the deer carcass removed.
